How is consulting recruiting from SOM?

A close friend of mine (also an atty) recently committed suicide and I feel completely lost. Her family doesn't want that publicly known so I can't even discuss the suicide with most of my friends/family, I just say she "died unexpectedly but we don't have many details." I feel like my grief is affecting my work productivity (compounding the pre-existing covid anxiety), but it feels weird to seek leave time to grieve for a non-family member's death. Anyone ever dealt with a similar situation?

Background: 27 Afro Latino Male recently graduated from a State School with a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. For McKinsey PEI, I was told I’ll be asked 1 question on leadership and 1 question on personal impact. I prepared 2 examples for each as recommended but these examples will only work if I’m asked generic questions like “Tell me about a time when you showed leadership” or “Tell me about a time you made personal impact”. Can someone from McK confirm if the questions asked will be more generic or specific?

Hello, we recently built out a technology team at our company. They are a phenomenal team with great work flow, rapport and collaboration however, most are junior in their career which can make it difficult for our senior lead to step away. They all receive professional dev allowances so we would like to work toward identifying possible future leads and laying out a growth plan. Have you thought about how that affects the badges we get on here? Have a hunch POC’s comments get taken down or are not “reacted” to as often as white people’s posts.
