Post CA - 6 months as management trainee at a unicorn
2 years as AM Financial Advisory at a big4
Currently working as Corporate Finance Lead.

Current CTC : 21L fixed
Expected : 21-25L

I started an in-house role about 5 months ago and I still don’t have enough work. I feel like I’m constantly flagging that I have capacity, but nothing has changed. Given the state of the economy, I’m getting worried about layoff and have started looking for new jobs. Any recs for how to spin my quick departure in interviews? Is being honest and talking about low volume okay?

I have always struggled in my career despite being from the best colleges. In my first company, I was given the worst rating bcz I cheated on a tech test (I was not in a tech team), post mba I joined new company & my boss hated me, I was yelled at daily & given double the amount of work. She finally laid me off when covid started. Now I joined this new company, moved countries & after 3 months, I was laid off (with 1K peeps). This has shaken me to the core & I have lost all confidence in myself.

I was just laid off from work this week due to current economy creating halt in market expansion.

Looking to see if anyone is hiring for Ops & Strategy or Ops in general for Houston area or remote.

I do have some positions I am interested in applying at Deloitte, Doordash, and Opendoor and wanted to see if anyone can help me with a referral.

Found out I’m being paid less than average for my role even though I was hired on as a senior project coordinator and later on “promoted” to a business analyst with no bump in pay. I am a contractor through an agency which I’m aware that plays a part in my take salary.

After talking to various colleagues who’ve been laid off or still working at the company they ALL make more than me. Two out of the three were hired in Jr roles one making 50 an hr and the other making 45. How to approach this?

Feeling super anxious about a position I interviewed for last week. They seemed excited about me before this second round, but I'm second guessing myself and feeling down because they're taking a while to get back to me. I'm feeling very negative.
