Has anyone ever taken 3 weeks of PTO at once? If so, what was the process? Any special approval from project manager required? I feel like 2 is pretty standard, but not sure on 3.

I am confused about our employee handbook. There is personal time off (PT), which attorneys do not get because they can take as much personal time off, and paid sick leave (PSL), which attorneys get 15 days. If attorneys have unlimited PT, why is it necessary to give a concrete number of PSL days?

Does Deloitte pay out vacation when you leave?

How do you adjust to such lower PTO balances? I have 23 days a year at deloitte, and some of these industry roles only offer 10-15 days… Do most of these roles offer a lot of sick days or something that I am missing? Or do they allow you to buy an extra week of PTO?
