Real estate is a lagging indicator so I would expect some softening with two caveats:
1) There are pockets that are well insulated and in high demand
2) Inventory is still really low right now and at the end of the day it’s still supply and demand

Agree 👌

Atlanta

Largest employer in Atlanta is Delta. Beyond furloughs they have also cut everyones salary 25%-50%. Anyone at delta who was planning to buy or upgrade a home is probably holding off. So many other Atlanta companies also cut salaries, raises, bonuses, or staff.

Unemployment, salary cuts, bonus/raises canceled. How will that not impact prices? It’s not reflected yet because supply has been delayed.

I compared prices of six months and saw the pattern that it's not less anything compared six month back

It’s hard to understand COVID-19 rates of infection where I’m at or was, and the contracts was not inline with corporate ideals at least not in the IT sector. Their ideals was radical and the spread of harmful information on past events to prevent ethnicities to get vaccinated was alarming. It has highest infection rate in private sector. Don’t know death rates was strictly remote and put on non-sanctioned project NDA wasn’t signed and never knew until it came down the grapevine.

Boss has WFH for 9months. I have been WFH for 2-weeks for travel quarantine/state guidelines. She now requires that I go back to the office to “show face” that HR is right alongside the essential employees. I have been more productive from home vs the office. I get the perspective of team unity, but is it wrong to feel there is no reason to risk my health? The company justifies increasing my covid risk (high-risk already) to “show face”, when my job is being fulfilled while WFH. Am I crazy?

TLDR: Getting over your ex of 2.5 years ghosting you after they said they wanted to reconnect.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)

Has anyone else had a really hard time online dating with Covid? I’m aware things are getting better but I prefer to do outdoor first dates to be on the safe side. No judgement to anyone that does differently. It’s just what I feel comfortable with. I’ve had a few guys tell me they won’t do outdoor dates for some reason… some have cited weather but others legit say no (in 70 weather) because it’s a hassle & “Covid is a joke.” Please tell me if this is normal.

It’s in south Austin part of 78704 but a really bad street. My thoughts are it’ll gentrify and I’ll condo regime it. Any major concerns, am I buying at the peak? Are there other financing options I should entertain? First house so a bit nervous. Thank you!

One item borrowers shopping for mortgages get too caught up in is rate. Most borrowers don’t know how to read a loan estimate and get taken advantage all the time. Just because a lender/bank offers you a low rate doesn’t mean it’s best deal. Most cases, especially now since rates have gone up, you are being charged points for some of these lower rates in the 4s. If you don’t know or understand discount points feel free to shoot me a message and I can help you review estimate and see if can beat
