How do I get my fiancé excited about wedding planning? He thinks I am too bossy when it comes to planning but I just want to get things done and out of the way. I am a huge planner and do not like to procrastinate so I push to get things checked off to the lis.

Hi i lost majority of my money in the stock market. I married and promised my family that I will not make the mistake I made 7 years ago. Gambling. Is this an addiction I have. I keep selling stocks and taking loses buying other stock hoping it will recover but never did and sell again taking loses and buy again. It now sink in to me. Once I get my bonus (tomorrow) what are the drawbacks of telling my biglaw firm I interviewed with another firm and am strongly considering accepting their soon-to-be offer (at a higher salary)?

For context: the relevant partners at the new firm already told me there will be an offer, it just needs to be written up, and they want me as soon as possible.

I’m a 3rd year lit associate lateraling to a new firm in a few weeks. I just received an invitation to interview for a federal clerkship that would start in Aug. 2023. Would it be a bad look as far as changing jobs quickly if I were to get and do the clerkship a little over a year after starting my second job?

I’m an IP associate (focused mainly on trademarks) in an AMLaw 200 firm (slightly below NY market pay) and I’m curious to know what IP groups (mainly trademark related practices) at V50 firms are like. My practice is relatively chill. No major fires to put out - steady and predictable 8-9 billable hours a day. I can generally not work on weekends. Am I at a unicorn shop or is this normal for Trademark practices?
