Remember the pilot episode of The Office when Michael calls Pam into his office and pretends to fire her? That happened to me today.... BUT I GOT A RAISE AT THE END.
Not sure how much longer I can stay cooped up in my house. Been one of the people abiding by social distancing / quarantine, and with the spike (due to more testing, people not social distancing, whatever) its scary to think that we could still be doing this next year. Anybody else in the same boat? How are you dealing with the repetitiveness of WFH?
Is Grant Thornton tax any less stressful than KPMG tax? What's been y'all longest days ?

Please help me calculate the in-hand salary and other stuff. I'll be working full-time remotely.

Which Job Offer Would You Pick? I’m fortunate enough to have recently received 2 job offers. Which would you pick based on the following information?:
Job Offer 1 - Salary: 10,000 more per year than Job Offer 2, less PTO than Job Offer 2, better work place culture
Job Offer 2 - Salary: 10,000 less per year than Job Offer 1, more PTO than Job Offer 1, better benefits than Job Offer 1
Job duties are comparable. Feel free to ask questions to help you decide! Thanks for weighing in!
I find that many women fail to counter or ask for more when receiving an offer. Men are far more likely to counter or ask for the moon. Curious if you have seen the same and if you struggle with this when advocating for yourself.
I found a great website that I wanted to share with you all that helps identify student reading grade level and lexile level
