Hi Fishes, Right now I'm bursting my brains to make a decision which company to join and request your help. I have an offer from tcs for 13.5LPA and nagarro for 18LPA both for the role of associate project manager. I have been a lead at infosys with 8yoe. Keeping in mind that this is the first time i will be a manager please suggest which company is best to learn and secure as the global recession has already begun. TIA #nagarro #tcs Tata Consultancy Infosys Nagarro
Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?
Urgent suggestions required...
Thanks!

As a senior lead, it’s more about whether I think you’ll get there at all in the time allotted. Focusing on rounds is misleading. If anything more rounds is better as every round is a feedback rep that should make you better.
If you’re not going to make it, you’ll see me take the reins.
But what do I know
Two, I’d say?
I would say roughly 2 in reality given my reporting line/ workload. It's usually just a quick discussion and then taking it from there. I would say my director does give me a lot of free reign. As long as I can back it up he just gives me pointers on how to simplify/ tighten things up D2 is right though, sometimes it all hands on deck and my director gives me the work he thinks I can deliver well on in the given time.
Ageee with everyone on this thread. Although I have had control freak VPs that change their minds at the last minute and overhaul after I’ve gone through two rounds based on their previous guidance/feedback. This pattern is what has caused me to leave.
For the most part, but for large projects or new business there’s always an internal with a VP or An SVP. Generally it’s a slight adjustment or “keep going but consider”... but in my experience, during final internals there is all too frequently a complete wrench thrown in at the last minute from someone at the top, even if they’ve been in alignment all along
