You will still get the promotion increase which i think is $2500 but don’t expect much more that that

Yes you do this is like any other promotions which was not mandatory 1-2 years back but now seems like everyone is being pushed to go to specialist II before manager.

OP are you part of USDC or PDM? I thought PDM was the only place we used I and II designations. Best to talk to your coach about this but if the later, it's really about salary - II is making more than I and it's a way to differentiate that without promoting. It helps from a government LCAT perspective.

Thank you Yes, I am from PDM. I dont think USDC have different level at SSS level

I have an offer from maxlinear, they are giving me almost 90% raise from my current CTC but the hr has taken almost a month to process the letter and also I have had rude conversations from her side. The technical manner knows about it all. I am not able to decide that whether this kind of incident will affect my work environment or not. Should I join maxlinear or not.

I just started at a new company 2 months ago with the expectation of having 3-4 people on my team. However, my team size will be increasing to 7. I don’t really want to rock the boat so early at my new job especially since I’m still in the “drinking from the firehose” phase, but this is going to be a significant increase in responsibility. We only have pay review in January of each year. Would it be crazy to ask about a raise later this month?

With the 1/16/22 pay raises PwC just did I only need a 15% raise this July when I’m on track for manager promotion to cross six figures. That’s almost a sure thing it’ll be more than 15% right? Also I live in very LCOL, I know six figures only as a manager is not normal nationwide

First time needing to edgarize a document (my practice is ECVC and have a client doing a Reg CF raise). Am I right in assuming that it’s just converting a Word doc or PDF doc into an SEC-specific format? Any recs on service providers? Would love a cloud-based self-serve tool and understanding of how pricing is supposed to work.

My wife and I are at odds with how to manage our money. I’m a fan of being frugal, but set aside money for debt and business investments.
