Let’s keep up the fight to keep abortion legal!
I’m a Christian and I’m here for this 🥂
PL1 I do not equate abortion with murder is my point. I would not terminate a pregnancy but I don’t think someone who terminates a pregnancy is a murderer for doing so.
Why don't we keep the same energy making sure birth control is available to all...instead of killing our future?
Didn't say I was against abortion in some circumstances. A lot those who choose abortion say they didn't have access to birth control or couldn't afford it.
I had a non-viable pregnancy that ended in an abortion. But that wasn’t the term used until I brought it up for clarity. I did it in the hopes I could get pregnant again as soon as possible but also because it was emotional havoc on me and my family for my body to look like I was pregnant when the prognosis was clear.
Eliminating clinics, such as the one I had in my hometown, 20 minutes from my home, is tantamount to indifference, discrimination, and actually very cruel to make a woman go through.
This would have affected me and my situation. But I support every woman’s right to control her reproductive rights and needs regardless her reason.
Waaaay too many men and hardly ANY women in the political and legal decision chain on this. That alone is a burning-red flag.
In my pregnancy loss support group, I met women who had chosen abortion for so many different and heartbreaking reasons. These were all much wanted pregnancies and though the grief over losing the pregnancy and all of the hopes and dreams that go with it was intense, none regretted their decision. I get furious when I see these laws being drafted, passed and signed. We should be supporting women and their families to make their own healthcare decisions. Thank you for sharing so openly. ❤️
Wait, there are states with just one clinic?
There are a lot of states doing a lot of things
