I accepted a 95k systems engineer role in VA with KBR and is currently going thru a clearance.(MAY START DATE)
Northrop offers me 92k w/ 3k sign on which is 30 min from home in MD for an associate systems role. They also want to give me a clearance but it will start as an interim so I can work sooner than may. MY DILEMMA: Kbr states that they know I need money now so I can accept an offer with Northrop to see if I like it until may.BUT can I have 2 security clearances running at the same time?

What I feel is who have joined PwC between October'21 to January'21 have got default rating-3 and hike of 5% and bonus also similar to that.

As 31st January was the cut-off date and they had given 5% ad-hoc hike in January as well.

I might be wrong but general observation and possibility I'm talking about.

Hi Fishes, I have 5 years of IT exp and I am being offered by JPMC with 20 LPA as fixed pay which includes (Basic, LTA, HRA, Er PF, Special Allowance). They didn't mention anything about the variable pay, gratuity, Health Insurance, etc. Does anyone have any idea on the full compensation structure of JPMC. I need this detail to use this offer as counter one for other good companies. I am not sure what I should tell them as my expected CTC. I am blindly saying that I have 22 LPA offer in hand.

Tenured sales folks… you know how it works: the quota goes up annually, the OTE commission stays the same. 50%/50% base to commission comp plan. What do I do this year? How normal are comp-raises when staying in the same sales role year after year (strong performer in top individual contributor role in company)? I don’t want to leave the company but the recruiters are showing significantly better comp… just don’t want to feel like I keep paying loyalty tax!

Out of curiosity, how do firms treat tattoos and piercings? I have five tattoos and it’s never been an issue (they’re small and I can cover most up), but I’m at a mid-size firm in a small Canadian city and was surprised to meet a fairly senior associate from a national firm with a nose ring, and we recently hired a lawyer with a sleeve (which he also mostly covers). Question regarding firm’s billable bonus. Recently saw we have a billable bonus structure for each quarter. It’s based on post pre-bill cut hours (billed hours). Flat rate for 540, (monthly req is 170) then increasing rates per hour after. They’re paid at the end of the following quarter (Jan-Mar gets paid end of June) for employees still working there. Does this sound off?
