You’ll get what you pay for in terms of quality between the mockingbird vs Uppababy. We went with Silvercross bc it’s the only single to double stroller that has a configuration where the bassinet can go on top but we tried out our friend’s mockingbird and Uppababy before deciding. Uppababy is much better quality overall thank the mockingbird. There are also tonsssss of YouTube videos with side by side comparisons. DadVerb, Magic Bean, and BabyCubby are three good baby product review channels!

M1 the Vista still doesn’t really allow this because the rumble seat has a max weight limit of 35lbs (conveniently exactly how much my 2yo weighs 🤦♀️) so 2yo always has to be in the toddler seat on top. I LOVE the Vista but it’s suboptimal for two kids if the older one is very tall/heavy for their age.
The UB is great… for one. It’s less ideal, but workable, for two. My toddler is big for his age (2) and the double configurations don’t work great because there’s not enough room for his legs with another kid in the second seat.
That said, I love love love it as a single and it does work as a double, but we’re in the market for a tandem (side by side) double that I think will be better for us.
I have heard great things about the Thule. Our friends have the single.
Looking at the Zoe Twin for ease of travel (one of the only doubles under 20lbs).
We got uppababy. It was definitely lighter & just felt better when we tried it. I highly recommend seeing them in person and trying it out yourself.

Where did you see the mockingbird in person? I saw they’re at targets but they’re not in the target locations near me that I’ve checked so far and I can’t find a list of locations that have them. Def want to try in person if possible!
I had an uppababy vista with my first, mockingbird first my second and they’re basically EXACTLY THE SAME except the mockingbird is less than half the price. Same shape and size, same huge storage basket (though MB has an optional back cover for security of ur stuff), same smooth push, same large/heavy frame, same leathery handlebars. We’re sooo happy with the mockingbird. I got the infant insert which we used for the first 6 months and I recommend (extra $30). Highly recommend!
Never tried it with a second seat but they show all the configuration options on their Instagram page

Delivered a couple of weeks ago so limited experience. We chose the uppababy and I’m very happy. Advised to go with this from parents of 2+ kids so feel good about adding on
I have the nuna Demi grow, bought specifically for a growing family, and three years later it is still my favorite baby purchase by far. I went back and forth between that and uppbaby (which is more popular in the states), and both are great and very similar. I think I went with nuna because the infant car seat safety was just stellar, but either way you are in good hands. Strollers are definitely a good place to invest.
Third trimester FTM here, we went with the UppaBaby and putting it together already helped us confirm what we had hoped to get out of a stroller. It’s great quality, easy to click different things on and off (bassinet, rumble seat, infant car seat), and versatile. I have friends who have 2 under the age of 3 and they love the UppaBaby for that as well!
I have the uppa baby vista v2 and love it!! I feel like they really thought of everything with this stroller. super easy to set up, use and I can finagle it down my front steps by myself when my husband is busy so the whole thing can be a one woman operation. I have a friend with the mockingbird and she wishes she bought the uppa baby. I love that it can grow with my baby and with my family.
ALSO I cannot recommend the doona infant car seat / stroller enough. I had my son 7 weeks ago and it’s my #1 reco for all the expecting mamas I know. Super convenient for any sort of travel- grocery store, flights, to my in-laws for dinner. A must have!
Congrats on baby! It’s a lot of work and a lot of fun 🙂
