When you go to pick him up, you can say something like, “I saw some photos that your teacher sent today of your friends doing _____, did you also do ______?” I’ve done this a few times and the teacher always jumps in and it’s either been oh yeah he missed that activity because he was in the bathroom, or he was doing it but not in the photo, or just doing something else. I think you can also just ask the teacher directly if you think there’s actually something wrong, but I don’t necessarily think less photos is cause for concern by itself. Some days we get more photos and some less, it’s fairly even over the course of a week.

And enjoys activities, he is definitely more mobile now walking by himself and even at home not staying at one place so perhaps that’s the cause? Maybe I am just being silly and this doesn’t matter, but often I have been told to go by mommy’s gut and I have a nagging feeling something is not right. Should I ask the teachers if my son is doing okay or ask to include more snapshots?
Mine actually only updates photos every 2 weeks and funnily enough, I prefer that to the almost daily I used to get from a different place. Makes me feel they are spending more time with the kids than updating apps.
Sometimes daycare takes a long time to post photos bc some parents do not want their kid in the pic so the directors have to delete all pix with the "no photos" kid.
