Hi all, I am needing some help with a salary negotiation. I am trying to relocate to Pittsburgh area. I have 3.5 years of experiences now and getting offered between 80k-85k for base salary for a senior accountant or reporting analyst position. Does this sound about right? I get paid more right now (maybe becasue I am in Oil and Gad industry) but want to see what the market average look like in Pittsburgh.

I think I’m getting fired. Should I quit in anticipation, and avoid a black mark on my resume?

Seeking advice for stock options that I am being offered as part of a job offer Context - company I’m joining is Pre-IPO. Company has offered X shares and provided 4 for potential strike prices for which I can purchase said stock (traditional vesting schedule). How would you perceive this option if my I intend to pursue graduate school in next 2-3 years? Should I try to lower this amount and ask for a higher base or sign-on bonus?
