While I think trolling is a big driver of this topic popping up time and again, I'll try to provide accurate information anyway in case people are actually interested.
Monitor Deloitte has always existed in one form or another since the acquisition. There was a period when it didn't exist _as an internal designation in the US_ and only in the US. That is the only fact people are basing the "Monitor doesn't exist" claims on.
During this period, it was still actively used in non-US geographies as both an internal and client-facing brand. Even in the US, it was still a client-facing brand and SMs/PMDs selling strategy work would carry Monitor cards. The Monitor Deloitte parts of the website, Monitor white papers and other eminence pieces always remained Monitor branded.
Now, they are apparently bringing back the internal designation in the US, which was the only missing piece. Therefore, Monitor again exists in both internal and client-facing capacities in the US and other geographies.
Source: I worked for a legacy Monitor practice (CS&AD) at Deloitte US without being designated Monitor internally (because no one in the US was) and have several friends in Europe who are and always have been officially designated Monitor.
D5 not sure for US. In EU and Asia definitely yes
Say it louder for the Deloitters in the back
Monitor is back and active in the U.S. now
Since earlier this summer..there have been internal communications and I’ve spoken directly with the head of monitor about it. It’s making a comeback babeyyy
Ok… hope they keep me paying then 😂
I’m assuming SA is homegrown Deloitte or something. What does it matter if people say Monitor Deloitte or not? If the branding helps in their roles or to close clients, who cares?
Why are people so pressed about Monitor Deloitte existing, insecure weirdos 💀
This. Also in EU is quite big practice (bigger than US in terms of people and revenues)

Not sure if that’s true. I once suggested this on a thread and was flamed by a bunch of people who claimed to be part of Monitor

It’s been brought back
It still exists as a brand, especially outside the US is my understanding
It exists as a practice, in the US too. Global Head of Monitor is Francisco Salazar (ex McK and Monitor group)

For the US, there is apparently a small team externally labeled as Strategic Growth Transformation that is Monitor Deloitte.
The problem is everyone in S&A and their mother claims Monitor to make it seem like they actually do strategy work.
Pro
KPMG 1, this is inaccurate. Strategic Growth Transformation is one of the Market Offerings within the Monitor Practice. The way the hierarchy goes is: Deloitte Consulting > S&A > Strategy Practice (Monitor Deloitte) > Market Offerings (including SGT).
Anyone in the strategy practice (and a few others doing marketing strategy) can use the Monitor Deloitte branding. Nobody else is supposed to be (though I’m sure some do).
Please don’t spread misinformation though KPMG 1.
