Since George Floyd's murder and the sudden Corporate America "wokeness," I (black guy) have been routinely contacted by unacquainted Partners who explicitly state something to the effect "Client X wants diversity, so we'd like you on this deal..." It really comes across as tone deaf and completely patronizing. I appreciate the efforts to diversity (albeit forced), but Partners really need to learn how to not be so supercilious in the approach. You don't have to overtly state that I'm the quota.

I took the interview with Delloite USI and cleared all rounds. After getting prehire mail I shared all requested documents but didn't hear from them after that even after follow-ups. After 2 months recruiter replied and told me that I am referred for post of technology analyst by interviewer though already an AC in Infosys. Anyone had any idea are they not aware of my position before they interviewed me and why they didn't share offer letter.

A friend of a friend asked if I could refer her to my firm. I agreed (seems like a good candidate and decent fit) since it’s hard to get through just by applying directly online and she doesn’t have a recruiter.
