Yes. And your manager to do it for you in turn.

It's partly (y)our job as a manager to keep the team's morale up, even the low morale is related to to something we or the team can't control. And yes, we have to hide when we're struggling, which sucks sometimes. It sucks when a partner or client stomps on us, and we have turn around and be pleasant for the staff. Only assholes take their bad day out on their team.
You don't have to bring them from a 4 to a 10 on the hip hip hooray scale. But if you can move them from a 3 or 4 to a 5 or 6, that'll help them (and you) quite a bit.
At my old toxic job, the management team was discussing how to address low morale, without spending money. I suggested being mindful of saying "Good job" and "Thank you". The director said that the thank you was in the paycheck, and she'd tell them they did a good job when they did a good job. (So, you know, really hard to believe there was a morale problem.)
I still believe that you should tell people when they did something well, thank them for their efforts even if things aren't perfect, and address errors as learning points rather an excuse to unleash all criticism. It's not going to make up for being cooped up in our homes, not seeing people, and the unknown future. But it takes two seconds, no money, and goes further than people think.
