Sat on 2 interviews back to back today, and essentially violently threw up in between(flu), and had to get right back on with the next person with vomit on the ends of my hair.

Every Friday, I like to end on a high note by randomly going on mute during Zoom calls—and complimenting the muthaluvin fuk out of all my CDs and team members in the most disrespectful tone possible. Then I wonder—had they heard me, would they have been flattered or fukin pissed at my complimentary azz? I genuinely don’t understand the people that stick it out in audit past 2 years so I want to ask why? It can’t be for the pay, because pay is pitiful and you’ll get paid more applying to a different service line at another firm. It can’t be for the fun work, since the work is miserable. The only benefit I can see is for people who are obsessed with rapid seniority, since progression is quick and guaranteed. For me, I personally don’t have an overwhelming obsession with being someone else’s boss.
