Are Deloitte and Deloitte Consulting completely different companies? And if so, does that mean that Deloitte Consulting can provide consulting services to a Deloitte audit client? If that's the case, then why did they reportedly consider copying EY's upcoming split. It seems like they already did that split log ago and somehow keep the same name essentially for both companies. If anything, is EY copying Deloitte here? What's the difference?

My senior client counterpart is leaving the client firm. Project is going through a storm right now just before delivery with deadlines being pushed. About to get a call about an offer. Have been interviewing for a few different places for a change in scenery and pay increase. Project work, client engagement, WLB, etc. Working on the Risk Advisory side, it’s more interesting than I thought it would be having minimal background coming out of undergrad. More audit related work than I expected which isn’t horrible. WLB is pretty much as expected. Would be interested to hear what others have to say!
