I am a Manager in Salesforce practice at D and I have 15 YOE and 5 years in Salesforce and at 145k base at D. Is it reasonable to expect a Senior Manager or Director role at pwc or accenture or other top consulting firms with a 30% hike? Hoping to get some input on exit paths from tax. I always thought it was strange that agencies rarely let candidates know the client until they are towards the end of the process. My position has way more job security than others simply because I work for a CPG client. Those in the same role on other accounts (e.g. airlines, hotels, fitness) have been furloughed or even laid off just because of the nature of the industry their client is in. Do we think agencies will have to be more transparent and let candidates ultimately chose the client?

Posted in Big 4 bowl but reposting here: Looking to move into a general Consulting Staff/Business Transformation/Strategy position mid-late 2022. Was eyeing a Summer/Fall 2022 Business Transformation Staff position at EY in particular, but it has dropped off. Any idea of when positions like that will typically open up across most firms? When should I consider switching firms? High performer at big 4 for a year and a half with only a 2% raise and nothing really feeling like I’m rewarded for the long hours/weekends and holiday hours I put in. Wasn’t thinking about leaving until I had some talks with a couple partners about going for promotion and one of them revealed that there were thoughts I was planning to leave the firm. Anyone ever interview with the NBA for a job?

To be FTM here, baby is due in September. What kind of support i’d need in initial few months? Both me and my husband will be on parental leave for 5 months and 3 months respectively plus will have some family members staying with us for initial 2-4 weeks non of them have managed newborns before. I’ll be hiring someone to cook for us or at-least help with cooking. Do I need nanny specialized in newborn care? if yes should I go with full time or part time in the first 3 months?
