Hi all! I’m an MBA Candidate with 3.5 years on H1B. What consulting firms are still hiring internationals among MBB and Big 4?

Im applying to a job in EY with a reference (NYC) Should I write a cover letter? A friend from Deloitte said not to include one if he was referencing me (senior consultant). I didnt write one for my current position in PwC
Does anyone have a sense for turnover at PEs? I’m in the process with a PE to start up their analytics program. One of the issues is that I would have to move assuming I get the role. Obviously I don’t want to move if it’s a really high turnover industry.
In all honesty, I understand people are leaving Big 4 right now because they have decent exit ops or better WLB ops, but what about people working at small/boutique firms making $100-105k as a SC/M? Is it worth it to join a Big 4 if you can potentially get a 20-30% pay increase, i.e. is the increase in salary worth the headache and travel?Deloitte Accenture PwC EY
Looking at an in-house role with a company with ~$1b sales & not publicly traded. Midwest market. What should I expect / ask for, in terms of bonus and other types of non-base salary compensation?
Can anyone share how long they had to wait before hearing back from a recruiter from KPMG after applying to a exp hire position/getting referred? Been about a week and haven’t heard back so wondering if this just means they didn’t see a fit or if it takes a bit longer
I am a Manager in Salesforce practice at D and I have 15 YOE and 5 years in Salesforce and at 145k base at D. Is it reasonable to expect a Senior Manager or Director role at pwc or accenture or other top consulting firms with a 30% hike? I took my current role at D at the start of the pandemic and got myself a bad bargain which is why I am looking to move.
Hi! Anyone on here from Kearney? Found a position that I’m interested in and looking to pursue. Would love to learn more about the firm/culture etc and get some feedback. Thank you!
Hoping to get some input on exit paths from tax. I’ve been at a small local firm for 2.5 years, got my CPA license this year, expecting promotion to senior after evaluations in December. Overall I’m pretty happy where I’m at now, the company has a good culture and no one works crazy hours. But I don’t plan to stay in public accounting for my entire career and have heard that the year after senior promotion is a good time to make a change. I’m concerned that
Spoke to another B4 about an open role. Got the conversation through networking and mutual connections. After a few chats the Partner said HR will reach out to me. Anyone know if this means formal interviews are next or if they may extend an offer?
I always thought it was strange that agencies rarely let candidates know the client until they are towards the end of the process. My position has way more job security than others simply because I work for a CPG client. Those in the same role on other accounts (e.g. airlines, hotels, fitness) have been furloughed or even laid off just because of the nature of the industry their client is in. Do we think agencies will have to be more transparent and let candidates ultimately chose the client?
Interviewing for an internet startup (Raised Series C in 2019. 150-200 employees. Europe based. Sorry can’t disclose name for anonymity) for a ‘head of growth’ role reporting to a senior director. What can/ should I expect in terms of comp. 8-9 yoe in total. I understand the details are limited; therefore any high level pointers also welcome. Thank you.
It's health insurance season in the United States of "Every Person for Themselves." Is there a silver lining to a primarily coinsurance based plan, rather than mostly copays? This is a first for me.
New senior on a new client/engagement. Not feeling on my game. Any suggestions on how to kick ass? What worked for you during your first year senioring?
Want to apply to MBB, not sure what the possibilities are: 2 YOE, ServiceNow / ITxM, Engagement Management, 4.0 GPA from Top 50 state school - do I stand any chance? Where could I fit in (technology / practice)? Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company McKinsey & Company Thanks!
Posted in Big 4 bowl but reposting here: Looking to move into a general Consulting Staff/Business Transformation/Strategy position mid-late 2022. Was eyeing a Summer/Fall 2022 Business Transformation Staff position at EY in particular, but it has dropped off. Any idea of when positions like that will typically open up across most firms? Want to get in early, open to any firm. I do not have an MBA, but I am client facing and work in commercial markets currently. TYIA!
Is the United infinite card worth it?
What to prefer an why: 150k plus benefits at EY or 200k plus benefits at Wipro. Both roles are in tech advisory. Same location same role.

Anyone at RSM know how long you have to be at the firm to be eligible for the parental leave benefit?
When should I consider switching firms? High performer at big 4 for a year and a half with only a 2% raise and nothing really feeling like I’m rewarded for the long hours/weekends and holiday hours I put in. Wasn’t thinking about leaving until I had some talks with a couple partners about going for promotion and one of them revealed that there were thoughts I was planning to leave the firm. Don’t know if I should stay somewhere with partners thinking that I already have a foot out the door
What does everyone think about RSMs healthcare consulting practice? Worth making a change?
I work in the Human Capital space and manage projects. What is worth more - SPHR or PMP? Or do either count? Obviously want to make Director and eventually more...
I’m seeing a lot of posts where leadership has been committed to making changes, but one thing I’ve noticed no one speaking about is transparency in pay equity. Ensuring there’s diversity in hiring future employees is great, but what are they doing to support pay equity with their current BIPOC employees. How can we ask leaders to release this type of data?
Anyone ever interview with the NBA for a job?
To be FTM here, baby is due in September. What kind of support i’d need in initial few months? Both me and my husband will be on parental leave for 5 months and 3 months respectively plus will have some family members staying with us for initial 2-4 weeks non of them have managed newborns before. I’ll be hiring someone to cook for us or at-least help with cooking. Do I need nanny specialized in newborn care? if yes should I go with full time or part time in the first 3 months?
