Are you an overly organized multitasker and problem solver who loves people and responsibility? Can you survive taking the blame sometimes? Maybe a lot of the time..
This ^^^ haha
Sadly I believe I am probably the opposite. Not “dislike”people, but not a people person. But I love to create things, and create new products. Looking to have my own business in the future.
I don't really agree with 'Dir Of Product'. You don't need to be a people person, but if you think you can "Just turn it on" ppl will see right through you. You have to be able to hold conversations with all biz departments (Dev,Sales, MKT, Des). All of these ppl speak in different ways, you must be able to adapt to each when speaking with them.
Kellogg has an 8 week course I'd highly recommend. If you're only looking to test the waters to see if it's a fit, you could hit a Udemy course and talk to a PM within your company for insight
Thanks for your suggestion. May I know what makes you recommend this program?
There are a ton of classes you can take online but I reccomend doing something at a local business school. You will have a much more thourough experience and can ask questions, meet people, etc.
Become very comfortable with everyone coming to you with questions you may not know the answer to immediately.
