Morning! So I am in the process of an IUI. I started letrozole Wednesday and have to go back next Wednesday for blood work and ultra sound. I was so excited that I forgot I had booked a trip for a family event for 4th of July. I am leaving on the 28th and won’t be back till the 5th. Did I just screw myself over? Did IUI couple of times but failed. Not sure it works , fertility specialists are not that much interested in IUI but directly recommend IVF. For context am 39 , although have history of endometriosis and have a cyst in ovary do only 1 ovary is producing eggs. IVF seems little invasive and not sure if artificial babies are ethically correct . Just confused ...

A neighbor in my building donated some fertility meds to be that will expire in a few weeks . I’m about to start my cycle and insurance will cover my medications but I’m nervous insurance won’t cover additional meds for more rounds. Already ordered meds through my insurance . Do I incorporate the meds that are about to expire into my cycle ? They were stored correctly as far as what I know. Sorry if this is a silly question.

How long after a failed transfer does your stomach and body feel like it’s back to normal? It’s been a little over a week since I got the news that my transfer a few weeks ago didn’t work. But my stomach is still so pooched out and looks pregnant that it makes me cry knowing that’s not the case. Trying to eat clean, tons of long walks, but still feel really bloated and gross.

Tough IVF mama warriors, would you start a new job in the middle of your stim cycle (fresh transfer)? What reasons would you give to the potential employer so you start 2-3 days after your transfer day?
It’s about a 3 week gap on the proposed start date to when i wrap up the ivf/transfer. I don’t want to jeopardize my ivf since transitioning into a new job can be stressful and I wasn’t successful in the last round. I am almost kicking myself for trying to pursuit a new career while ivf. 😕😔
