Hi all! 1st post here, and have always from the outside figured PM would be a great way to transition into a role that would allow me to understand processes and systems, and then create solutions by working through business/technical requirements. I'm currently in consulting working primary on process improvement and automation projects. We occasionally supplement this with data management solutions and data visualization (dashboards for analytics). Feasibility of making the transition?

Why are you still in Pharma when Tech is much more exciting/better paying/more opportunities to be in as a sector? And please don’t give me helping the patient bs.. I am considering moving to tech in an BI/PM role even if it’s a bit of a lesser role. Thoughts?
What is the best way to deal with latent sexism in the workforce. Stuff like promoting a woman, only to then hire a man to fill a newly created position over her. Effectively negating her promotion.
Folks, seeing lot of native questions here on salary, hike, retention bonus, hike letter timelines, variable pay, understanding impact indicators and ratings, scattered plot, etc etc. I'm a tenured manager in Deloitte, and have spend 12+ years here. Ask me anything, happy to help wrt consulting. 😊
Salary POV: I recently accepted a position at Oracle Consulting USA (Cloud ERP practice) in their delivery organization as a Director Cloud ERP. I accepted the Salary of $195K and a quarterly bonus of 35%. The hiring manager told me that realistically people get around 10 to 20%. I have 20+ years of experience in EBS, Cloud ERP as an SME as well as PM roles. My question is did I settle for less? Should I have negotiated better? Any inputs from people in similar roles at Oracle or ex-Oracle?
Desperate to leave after 1.5 years in current role — bad culture (very cliquey) and politics. Which recruiters do I reach out to?

Gave McKinsey Imbellus(gamified assessment) today my performance was: Game 1-EcoSys. Build- All 8 Species survived. Game 2 - Tower Defence - R1-28 Turns; R2 - ~10 Turns; R3 -24 Turns. Is there a difference between 250k salary and 400k salary? Both salaries are watching spiderman on opening night. Both salaries have food on the table and a roof over their heads. One has a 65in tv vs the other has 75in. One drives a BMW the other a Tesla. I make around 250k and to increase my salary I will have to work a lot more. Is it really worth having more money, at some point it is just a number and quality of life doesn't improve. In fact it could be worse with the extra hours.
I think I just bombed an interview for a job I really liked. (Well, maybe a B-). That sucks
Managers, analyst asks to take 11am flight to avoid the 6am (only two options - Mondays). Yay/nay?
