I am a second year finance associate and I would like to explore the possibility of lateraling to a regulatory practice group. (T20 Grad with foreign language capability, just in case it matters.)I am mostly interested in international trade. (CFIUS, OFAC Sanctions, EAR, ITAR or FCPA compliance). Is it too late to make such a switch as a 2nd year? I do not see a lot of job postings despite the Ukraine crisis.What firms are always looking to expand their regulatory group in this realm?
