Ghar ki murgi dal barabar.
LOL
If they give you, then they need to give other 100 people in your team
It's better to give double salary to new guy
In my point of view new hiring happens when there is a spot vacant and there is no existing employee that is suitable. Then it's understandable to give that hike. This is a ideal case But i am not sure about big service companies how they work in this regard.
They need to see fresh or new people having fresh or different ideas/workstyle
I have the same confusion as well, TCS even recruits employees with less than half skills of existing employees and gives them double salary.
We, normal humans can't understand their logic
New people brings new perspective and innovative ideas. Ppl staying in the same company knows the way to get the work done w/o putting much efforts. Jokes apart it's the trend and nothing more!!😅
Just think for ex TCS has 5 lakhs employees all around the world and every project has its own profit margin, And on an average let's say TCS hires 25k employees every year, So they definitely go with giving 25k people with higher salary rather than giving it to existing 5lakhs employees - Anyhow they know people's desire for more money will not end no matter how much you give them hence this is the only way for them...
I have always wondered this. If anyone knows let me know. It drives me NUTS.
