Honestly surprised I didn’t see military on this list. Almost everyone I knew/know in the military has been divorced at least once.
To look at it a little less cynically, having a well paying job can be a pretty good signal for personal qualities like ambition, work ethic etc.
I do think if you value those qualities in a partner you should display them yourself though.. I exclusively date "across" for that reason

Sugar daddies aren't a relationship, they're agreed upon transactions. Anymore I think someone's commitment is based on heights primarily, with income secondary. The taller you are, the less income you need. The shorter you are, the more income you need...or time spent in the gym.

Usually taller men yield higher salaries than shorter men. Seems like life is hard if you're shorter than average.

Most sugar relationships are fairly obviously that and agreed upon by the parties involved?
We recently had a friend run his course through our group. He is a total mess and I have the feeling he jumps from wealthy friend groups and dips out after a few years right before he can actually get close with anyone. Nice but very insecure guy.

There’s often times I wonder if my SO is with me for my job. Every once in a while we’ll pass a nice car or house and she’ll be like I can’t wait til you can buy that for us. She works hard at her job and does the best she can but she just doesn’t make what I do and likely won’t unless she gets a different job and works her way up.

I seen a few families divorce because the husband couldn't keep a job. It usually stemmed from the husband having substance abuse issues or mental health issues.
