My boyfriend has been living with me for 8 months. He has not offered to pay rent but pays the cable bill and for groceries. He makes jokes about me starving him. I eat breakfast earlier than him and do not want to cook breakfast for him again after I’ve started working. For him, breakfast is not food or a meal. I typically make huge dinners 2-3x/week that can last 2-3 days. He does not cook. He has done the dishes a handful of times and cleaned the kitchen. He feels forced to do something nice

I never thought being a mom would be this difficult. I am working full time, have an infant who wakes up every 3-4h and doesn't fall back asleep unless held in arms, am breastfeeding for medical reasons, and feel resentful and beyond tired all the time. I hate the fact that my body is so different to how it was before, that I don't have a sense of self any more, that I can't disconnect and take a break (and this is likely to not change for years to come). Is this normal or unfit to be a mom?

My mother in law asked to be in the delivery room when my wife gives birth. Is this normal? My gut reaction was "you absolutely may not."

Any bday obsessed moms who ended up with kids with bdays close by? How was it? Do you wish it weren't so? I might be pregnant and then baby would be right around my bday. My SO'S bday is already close to mine and I hate it. I've always been bday obsessed and practically the whole month for me is bday focused. I know I'm a grown woman, but I don't care. Bdays are my fav. This might be extreme but I might go take a Plan B pill.

I took it upon myself to reach out to the parents and let them know I've already called the cops but wanted to reach out to you first before the cop shows up on your door. 1 set of parents immediately shifted blame to me and bashed me as a teacher and told me they think I have it out for their son and didn't address the situation at hand. How can I move forward with this situation?
