I love any excuse to show some appreciation. So I think a little something is sweet.

Just a thought: week before Mother’s Day is teacher appreciation week. Maybe tell her she falls a bit in both camps and you wanted to show your appreciation?

Yes

Yes!

Yes, maybe a nice lotion set or a bottle of wine!

My boyfriend and I hadn’t had sex for 2.5 months (with other long breaks before that). I broke and brought up the issue and he eventually explained that he’s not been attracted to me. I’m 105 lbs and ride my bike to get around the city (or at least do a leisure ride on the weekends if I had no errands to run that week), but he still thinks I’m too sedentary and spend too much time curled up on my phone. But the problem is…cont

My boyfriend has been living with me for 8 months. He has not offered to pay rent but pays the cable bill and for groceries. He makes jokes about me starving him. I eat breakfast earlier than him and do not want to cook breakfast for him again after I’ve started working. For him, breakfast is not food or a meal. I typically make huge dinners 2-3x/week that can last 2-3 days. He does not cook. He has done the dishes a handful of times and cleaned the kitchen. He feels forced to do something nice

I never thought being a mom would be this difficult. I am working full time, have an infant who wakes up every 3-4h and doesn't fall back asleep unless held in arms, am breastfeeding for medical reasons, and feel resentful and beyond tired all the time. I hate the fact that my body is so different to how it was before, that I don't have a sense of self any more, that I can't disconnect and take a break (and this is likely to not change for years to come). Is this normal or unfit to be a mom?

Any bday obsessed moms who ended up with kids with bdays close by? How was it? Do you wish it weren't so? I might be pregnant and then baby would be right around my bday. My SO'S bday is already close to mine and I hate it. I've always been bday obsessed and practically the whole month for me is bday focused. I know I'm a grown woman, but I don't care. Bdays are my fav. This might be extreme but I might go take a Plan B pill.

My house got egged and tped over the weekend. I took it upon myself to reach out to the parents and let them know I've already called the cops but wanted to reach out to you first before the cop shows up on your door. 1 set of parents immediately shifted blame to me and bashed me as a teacher and told me they think I have it out for their son and didn't address the situation at hand. How can I move forward with this situation?

How long do you think is good to get pregnant after getting a new job? My hubby and I want to get preggo but I just got a job and I feel is not ok to get preggo right away. Plus it seems like there is a lot going on in the job 😩 There is a parental leave that I can take after 12 months, so assuming I get pregnant after 3 months then I am good, but I still think is a little to quick? 2nd trimester, first time pregnant mom. Did you have a daily routine during your pregnancy? Start your day at a specific time…walk/workout specific time…etc.. With Biden being elected, everyone is now talking about student loan forgiveness. How likely do you think that is? I graduated with $120K in student and parent plus loans and will be done paying next month (took me 2.5 years). I’m first-gen, my parents were financially illiterate, and I was naive so that’s where my debt came from. I worked hard to pay them off so it honestly doesn’t sit right with me when others expect their loans to just be forgiven. That’s my rant; thoughts?
