Let me sleep in. I’ve already told my husband that that’s all I want 🙃

like

MIL: she wrote a song years ago. Had a graphic artist take a snippet of her singing it and turn the sound waves into artwork (found via Etsy)

Last year got her a story worth subscription. She’s all about journaling so this gave her the chance to write her story and have a book created.

Husband got me mikimoto pearl earrings with my daughters birthstone.

Tip: i keep a running list in notepad with gift ideas. Someone compliments something I wear, mentions a hobby, or specifically talks about something they want or need, i write it in the notepad i have with their name. Then pick from that when gift giving time comes. Husband used to to think i was just super thoughtful. He found out about the list and now he emails me things to “put in my notepad.” Lol.

Most recent things I’ve gotten for mine that she loved: nice balsamic vinegar from Italy, truffle oil, phone case, Apple Watch, grass, microwaveable beanbag

My besties husband got her a night at a hotel with a door dash credit so she can order dinner, eat it in peace in her room, and sleep in. She's got a 1 year old and a 3 year old so the escape was appreciated. I always get my mom baseball tickets and take a day off of work to go with her, she appreciates spending time together the most.

Louis Vuitton bags. Expensive, but they like ‘em so yeah.

Two children (wife, I’m from the south but I’m not from Bama). They still cost me money...

Have a budget? My husband has given me love bracelets for Mother’s Day before.

Air fryer! My mom has been hinting at one for a while lol

My first therapy appointment tomorrow! I’ve never dealt with depression before having my second kid and my PPD was/is rough! A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I let the students know to get any work they need graded in before the break and I'll get it to it during our workdays in January. Apparently that's not fast enough for her 🙄. Is it wrong that I'm sort of pissed off by this? Should I say something?

Do you think using “him/her” for “he/she” (ex: “her is playing” “him not here yet”) is something that kids usually grow out of? Or does it need direct intervention? I have 2 students who exhibit this error, who otherwise should be dismissed. Normally I’d just keep them on and work on it alongside other goals, but they don’t have any other goals, and with COVID, and my upcoming maternity leave in March, a more compact caseload would be advantageous.

Our baby is 5 months old. How many times would you recommend us offering him with solids in a 24 hr period? Also, in what proportion of purée vs formula?

I firmly believe leadership makes the difference.

Not only, it highlins each one's value, but especially spreads this value among others.
I'm speaking about life, in a broad sense, which also include work life, but it is not limited to that.

Looking for any kind of suggestion to improve my leadership: books, experiences, attitudes, daily-routine, ...

Thank you!

Hi All,

I have cleared all the rounds with @wipro and it's been more than 2 months i have not received my offer letter. HR is saying that we are still waiting for the approval.

Can anyone please suggest. What I can do here.

My last day at Accenture is 6 Feb and I'm still waiting for my offer letter from Wipro.

I'll be moving to Dallas for work this summer. I've been looking into housing options within walking distance from my job in downtown (wanna minimize driving as much as possible). Most of the places I've seen within my budget seem to have really mixed reviews. I don't need anything big or fancy--just needs to be safe and clean. Any insight on these places (or any other recs) would be great:
