I’ve noticed it’s mostly dads and other men that are thrilled to return. The few women I’ve seen express interest in going back to normal are much more senior and at the end of their career, kids long gone out of the house. Can’t speak for everyone, but it’s just my observation in my small sample size.

D4, relax. Just relax.
I am looking forward to it, including traveling for project purposes. I think it will be tough to get the kids used to it again though - I am working in consulting and travelled a lot pre-COVID (1-2 nights away from home per week) and my husband and I really worked as a great team to make it work and the children were used to it. But when I mentioned to my 6-year old daughter that I would start traveling again, she started crying...

Oh my goodness Switzerland sounds like a dream
Wow not a mother but reading these comments.... companies should look into the impact of their decisions especially for mothers
Don't want to go back. I'd settle for one, maybe two days in office but there's really no point to me being in the office 5 days a week when I can clearly do my work from home.
Thank you!
About to resign and leave for a fully remote role. It was a 10-15% pay cut (depending what my raise would have been) but it’s worth it given my family and financial situation overall
If my company ask me to come back full time to the office (mon-fri), I am going to quit. Not going back to that life. So many remote opportunities have opened now.
Dreading it.
I don’t have any children (but planning and practicing 😊) and I think it’s a horrible idea for anyone to be forced to go back especially parents that have to work outside the home. Nah, that’s not the move.
No no no… please no 😭
Still thinking about this question and another way to say no:
I wish we never had to go back!!! Just the commute alone adds so much difficulty and wastes so much time!

I’m dying to go back!!!! Just me?? 😅
I miss collaborating and socializing with my team. It’s just not the same from home. But I’m hoping this means increased flexibility for remote work and travel arrangements.
Not feeling it. Scrambling to find full time childcare at the moment and all the options I like are on wait list. Maybe I’ll feel better after I have that settled.
Don't want to be back. WFH is finally in full swing and much more efficient
I have kids, on the younger side, and do want to go back. I miss the working together from the office. The white boards, the coffee chats. I don’t want to commute and be gone until 8pm, but maybe a 7-4 schedule isn’t so bad.
I understand everyone has their own schedule and work needs though.
Dying to go back (at least a couple days a week). My apartment isn’t big enough for me and my husband to comfortably WFH with a kiddo, dog, and nanny. Also, DH and I definitely slack off some from our professional goals when we aren’t around our colleagues for challenge/inspiration.
Only a dog mom for now but planning on getting pregnant at the end of this year -- DEFINITELY don't want to go back. It's clear that we can all do our work at home and given my company's success last year -- we can do it WELL!
My 2 cents…don’t ever settle for 100% remote work . For one you will miss on all client / your company network or relationships you have built over the pre Covid times and secondly your family starts expecting too much from you almost as much as a non working mom/wife.

Exactly!! This could not have been said better!
Not going to go back! Just going to say no thanks.
Really don't want to
Dreading it big time. Depressed.
