Offers from OW ATK and S&O for undergrad position. Which would you guys pick based exit opps, prestige, and culture?
I’m currently a senior accountant and I mainly focus on accruals and expense analysis. Prior to this role I was in State & Local Tax. I wasn’t sure if tax is where I wanted to be at the time especially because I heard you can get pigeonholed. I actually kind of miss the work that I used to but also found tax can be very mentally challenging. I’m struggling with trying to decide if I should go back to tax or maybe use my current experience to go into FP&A or a Finance related role. Advise please!
Was interviewing with a software company and they told me yesterday that hiring was suspend indefinitely until they can determine the impact of covid19. Am I the only one?
How are y’all planning your consulting exit strategies? Do you have a specific role in mind to aim toward? Are you building specific skills outside of billable work?
Hi, I'm looking for a job change as a Business Analyst. I have 2 years of relevant experience in a product based startup. Please do let me know if any openings for the same. Thanks

I've an interview scheduled for this week with EY for the role of Consultant - Performance Improvement. For first round I was asked to submit a case study solution. I wanted to know how many rounds of interviews would be there and how the overall process would be like since this would be my first experience for consulting interview. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated 😊
Genuine question and attempt to understand: for those of you who are upset or unhappy about more robust efforts at diversity and inclusivity, can you explain why these efforts upset you? Or worry you?

Hi all, I have 2.3 Years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer. And have worked with various Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms. Looking for a job switch in Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist role. Can anyone please refer me. Any leads will be highly appreciable. Thanks
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.
Does anyone have a standing desk mat they recommend? I have a large L desk that is convertable and looking for one thst is comfortable to stand on but could also have a chair role over it for when I'm sitting

Hey Sales 🐠, kindly requesting your advice. I have 4 YOE in customer success and 2 YOE as a presales solutions consultant, all in the health tech space. I’d like to grow into a sales role (e.g. Account Executive), but am not sure what a good next step should be. I don’t have any full cycle sales experience or a history of a meeting quotas, but I am comfortable in C-suite interactions. Any suggestions on what type of sales roles to consider next? Thanks!
Been in a new in house comms role, for a month. Just got a email from someone I previously interviewed with two years ago at better organization saying they have a open role. Would it be bad to leave?
I'm a broker dealer lawyer who was in house for a few years. My position is ending soon and all my offers just seem shitty less than 100K in nyc. I'm thinking about starting my own shop as I truly believe I can do much better than that. I just don't know how I would get clients to start. For background I have a few of my own businesses outside of law that I do on the side that make more than my offers.
Anyone exit to industry from M&A tax? Looking for examples/ideas since I’ve decided I’m not trying to gun for partner

I’m 1.5 post MBA and working in Monitor Deloitte. Looking to relocate and lateral to MBB Toronto/Montreal office (from US). Any past MD folks who have made the transition?
Even the dog has to wfh...
One basic question on long term travel. The income is shown as my income plus whatever I spent as part of deloitte due to travel. Due to this I'll fall in higher tax bracket. So will deloitte pay for that additional tax that Ill end up paying on my actual salary due to higher bracket taxes?
People who are happy that the office is become WFH should reconsider. You stop building meaningful relantionships at home and things just become transactional
When do we find out how much we get for Performance Based Bonus? And do we receive them in October or earlier?
My wife and I are considering planning a trip to Tulum, Mexico for late July. She’s slightly reserved in asking her employer (she works at a dental practice) if it’s okay to take time off with the concern her employer may feel off-put by the request. I personally hate the thought of someone else restricting my ability to make my own decisions, but also want to be contieous of others concerns as well. I feel at some point we all will be in a similar situation - to where we want to go do...
Any companies (not just consultancies) currently hiring in Atlanta? I’m a C in HC with 6 YOE (was in tech before).

I'm in a position where I don't like the tasks that are coming with my next promotion, but I really love my company (culture-wise). I have no idea whether I should jump ship or not.
Anyone else feel like they’re behind on the savings benchmarks? I’m close to 30 and have $35k in checking/savings and about $40k in 401k/HSAs. I do have my student loans paid off along with my car, but all the articles I’ve read say I have way too little saved. I make about 78k currently - thoughts?
Have a job interview coming up at a major company. Feeling like I don’t have all the qualifications necessary for the job. Have you ever applied to a job that you don’t really meet the criteria for?

Is it worth speaking to HR if you keep getting passed up for promotion for the past year and a half (will be 2 in October) even if all your feedback is amazing and explicitly mentions from multiple ppl that you're ready for the promotion? (Assuming you can't leave due to other circumstances)
So are senior leadership just yes-men/women? Has anyone encountered a scenario where they had senior leadership push back to the client?
Hi! I'm a systems analyst (YOE - 2 yrs. If adding internships, then 3 YOE) and trying to pivot into data analytics/science. A fast learner with a decent amount of transferable skills. I've been taking online courses for the past several months to add necessary skills to my resume (SQL, Looker, etc.). Anyone willing to provide a referral to Google, Apple, Slack, Okta, or Facebook? If unable to, any advice on changing careers or data analytics is greatly appreciated!
Coming off of my first real, full week of PTO in my 10+ year career (my fault... that was self- imposed) and WOW. I actually feel refreshed, comfortable with returning tomorrow and grateful that my firm and team did not once try to grab my attention for literally anything. Take your PTO, folks. I'm serious. It helps.
