Moving from PA to Industry Tax at Senior Accountant role, should I expect to be preparing large spreadsheets? PA always has staff doing more prep work while senior taking care of review. Is it same in Industry?

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. I’m exhausted with having to educate colleagues on what we do. I know we’re specialists as producers, but we work in the same industry, people. There has to be a modicum of knowledge and understanding with the agency process from top to bottom. And if you don’t have the experience, PLEASE don’t tell me how something should be done.

Any TIPS on “how to not give up on finding a job”. After many final rounds and ZERO offers, I’m on the edge. It’s a horrid feeling to endure and to end it seems.
