moving from SF to NYC - what is the dress code for women when going out?? in SF im used to showing up at bars after work in jeans/sweater/sneakers with a backpack but i feel like that won’t fly in NYC lol. do i need a new wardrobe??

Today I started a new gig with a new AD partner. He’s smart, contributed tons of great ideas (concepts AND lines), and he’s respectful and collaborative. I won the AD lottery today!

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD as a second year. I’ve honestly had really poor performance for the past 4 months (mistakes left and right) and I want to bring it up to my partners without making it sound like I’m unloading responsibility onto my condition. The BDR that had my territory last was one of the worst performing on the team and since he inherited a new territory he’s been a top performer. So my current CD kinda doesn't give any direction. They look at what I've done and change like one word. Maybe I'm an acd and I don't need much oversight? They also ask me to help lighten their load but never know what needs to be done and tell me to ask the account or design team. I just don't think they are super interested in working any more. 1 junior and a mid level already asked to leave this team. I don't wanna cause trouble or get them (or me) fired

I have a manager that does not seem to understand mental illnesses, disorders, etc. He thinks I am making excuses rather than trying to explain things (I have diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and depression) and I’m trying to take ownership for issues but also help him understand what I am describing better as well. We are sitting down for a conversation later this week. Any advice on how to gently educate or help with his understanding of neurodivergence and other mental health considerations?
