Is this a good time to send money to India or wait I feel with covid on rise in India .. rupee will become weaker. Any thoughts?
Looking for advice... I’ve always had positive performance reviews, but my own insecurities have me convinced that I am about to get fired and am not doing a good job.
Currently a PhD at a M7. Veteran, and obviously used to be at EY. Currently in qualifying phase and starting to looking to post-PhD life. How do the firms differ in how they treat advanced degrees (ie stick to PhD area or are you a generalist)? How do federal vs commercial practices differ when recruiting advanced degrees? I recognize that there might be a pay differential (pay isn’t important, I don’t want to go back to B4 due to tax/consulting dichotomy), just would be great to be federal.
To everyone who complains about salary and hours: talk to a marketing major grads. Their salaries are not even close to ours, bonuses are far and between, hours sucks (just not as busy-season-driven)
Does anyone know anything about applying to Columbia J-term? Acceptance rate is not listed anywhere, but I assume it’s higher than the regular term. Anyone successful?
