OP, doing the exact same thing for 1 year starting 03-June. Maybe we could tag team and explore Europe. Which city are you going to be based out of? Mine would be Dusseldorf.

Sorry OP male here. Wife and kid are staying back in the US for visa purpose so having to travel solo. Have come across some women only groups. You might want to check them out. Please feel free to DM me if you would like to share travel knowledge with one another. Always open to travel recommendations.

Following as it looks like I’ll be going with my SO to Munich for her job for 8 months starting in July.

Also, did you have to purchase insurance for a 90 day period?

Athens

Currently living in Germany and trying to visit as much of Europe as I can. Any capital city will be worth a visit, even multiple times, but your extended time here will make seeing some of the smaller cities and countrysides worth it too. For road tripping literally just pick a direction and go. All of the surrounding countries are worth visiting. Flights within Europe can be stupid cheap on low cost carriers, and for a weekend an under seat bag should be plenty. The high speed rail system is my favorite way to travel, and it’s often very cheap if you purchase in advance. What are your interests? That would help narrow recommendations

Any advice on finding apartments haha

Probably asked a lot but how do you deal with the stress of a new project which involves a new team? If every study shows bad management slows productivity and cost companies good employees, why are all these a**hole clients and the MDs who turn a blind eye protected? My client's awful attitude creates an extremely unproductive environment. We spend more time protecting his ego or getting irrationally screamed at, than we do doing our jobs. I thought our MD might step in, but he just completely downplayed it and even blamed us. Why isn't there more attention on changing this outdated ideology?

Looking for advice. Have an upcoming tech case study as a final interview stage for VP technology consulting role. There is nothing to prepare in advance. Interviewer will brief me over Zoom and give me the case study instructions. I have the remainder of the first hour to prepare based on the scenario provided. In the second hour, I will present my response to the case study to a panel. Afterwards, there will be an additional time for interview questions and discussion with the panel.
