Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

Do you want to wake up on Sunday mornings and step out of your front door for civilised brunches or to vomit on the ground from the night before? That’s the difference
West Virginia is way prettier, but unfortunately no Whole Foods in the state.
Transit options are better in WV
Love both, but West Village is just nicer. Those gorgeous brown stones and tree lined streets are 👌
Both are on either side of Washington square park aka NYU. EV is where all the young people bars are. WV is classier, a little older, and nicer places probably. I went to NYU and live in NY. 23 years old and would definitely do east village but not if I was 30
Agreed. EV is also very “Starving artist” who pays over $3K/mos in rent whereas WV is more upscale and a bit procier, but depends on your lifestyle pref. I’d feel safer walking WV at night if that helps. Also better places to meet like minded young professionals vs college scene in EV.
Live wherever is cheaper. I love EV by Astor place and it was such an easy walk to WV when I wanted but I think WV is more expensive than need be for most things

In response to P1, both EV and WV are safe at night, EV only gets dicey if you are wandering around avenue D at 3 am
Both are awesome for social scene, I live downtown and never wonder above like 20th Street. Only 24 still and can second all the above comments. If you can afford WV, definitely the better choice
