I wouldn’t move into a pricier place just for him- he can visit but you can cap it at 2-3 weeks at a time max. If he wants to stay for extended periods like 2-3 months at a time I’d set boundaries and let him know you’re not ready to co-habit this soon into dating. I get the honey moon phase and wanting to spend time together, but I’d proceed with caution with anyone wanting to setup camp in my home this early on- even with the coast to coast logistics involved.

Thank you!! I thought it was just me so thank you for verbalizing my discomfort. he asked me to move in with him in Seattle since we were remote working (i was a nomad around the US), and i felt like it was a nice gesture but was not comfortable with it

If you guys are moving in together then 1br and I’d make him split rent. If just yourself then get a studio. Two months to move in together, personally, is a bit too fast but it works for some people

like

That's a good thing no? I feel you'll have to spend some time together here to keep long distance going, perhaps you can reduce the duration together in initial phases The flight cost from him probably evens out the upgrade to 1bdrm from your end?

Be hesitant. That’s too soon

You can easily put boundaries on which weekend and timeframe your new boyfriend can visit you, those are basic relationship boundaries. What’s your price range, what can you afford per month? I live in nyc

Nice luxury Studios in Manhattan are going under 2k, you can find 1 bedroom under 3k, which are all considered steals (they lowered gross rent too, to affordable rates even after the 2-3 months free). Check out streeteasy.com , also TF Cornerstone has really good priced luxury bldgs, like #455

Hi I’m hiring a recruiter role in the US. Looking for someone with experience in a software company and who can be Atlanta or east coast time zone. Can be fully remote. Salary c$60k plus 10% bonus and recruitment fee for each direct and referral placement you make (which could add c$30k+ to earnings) we have a great selection of company benefits. Is this package attractive? There’s great opportunity for career development and the company is growing so lots of new roles. We are international too!

Month 5 of 20/4 intermittent fasting. Down 25 pounds to ~170 lbs (stabilized there) M/53. WFH was hard but keeping fridge and cupboards from temptations (and still no booze for three months) has helped. It can be done--miss ice cream! but eating healthy in the 4-hour window. Two cups of black coffee/lots of water btw 9 pm and 5 pm. Doable folks. Don't give up. But am not exercising from home (just long walks 2x a week) due to intense work. Need to but hard to get back on exercise saddle.

I don't know about other Big 4's. Feels like EY is mimicking PM cares fund. #PeanutBonus

Hey everyone. Hope you are having a good day. I have a little question. I am the type of auditor that love fieldwork. I heard from someone that big 4 now tend to switch to work from home mote. Is that true? Do you think it's better to try to get into mid size CPA firms or big 4 small and medium client segment/ industry in order to have the greatest chance to be on audits that require fieldwork? Hope to hear your opinion and advices.

Have a sales strategy offer from a reputable software company. It pays 15k more than what I make now and remote with monthly travel. Been at Microsoft in client success for less than a year with the chance to transfer to BizOps (70% likely) in the next 6 months or PM (50%, already talked to the manager, and I have a tech background) but no guarantee. I want to do strategy/product and don’t like my current role. Should I stay or go? Current TC is 150k, 2.5 YOE
