I'm drinking nearly every day to just deal with it all.

I'm doing fairly decent at work. The money is ok, with the very high probability of being more than i could have realistically ever dreamed. But my personal life is on the rocks -- and alcohol is basically the only thing keeping me level enough to balance it all.

This can't be sustainable. But Idk what else to really do. It works for now.

It did not materially hinder me until law school, and now it’s pretty debilitating as an associate. Since I have been medicated, some executive functioning has been better but it’s really hit or miss. Anyone have any success stories? Would in-house be easier to manage as there is less executive functioning (ie no timekeeping and billing)? I appreciate any response in advance. Thanks!

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞
