Should i buy more or wait ?

I didn’t invest during Covid and it was a rookie mistake. I started buying stock gradually last year and aggressively this year after the war started thinking that it was the bottom. I am now 25% down. I have another 10k which is for investing purpose, not sure what to do. Seems like it will go down more.

I have invested mostly on tech media and telecom.

So after a period of burnout, leaving and healing, i am ready to get back at things and i got two offers. Similar money (both pretty good) but one is a startup and the other a scaleup. Startup is 30 people, pre series A, lots of freedom to run the show, cool innovative product. Scaleup has interesting product, and id run one of the growth areas, some good people with interesting backgrounds too, series C. I come from corporate (public, +2000 people). Any thoughts for me? This is the week where I feel like I’m about to get crushed. Launching a new version of a product and we’re trying to get it ready for use by a customer but we’re behind schedule. Launching a new feature on another product for another customer but we’re getting a lot of bugs and we have a week to ship. Drowning and stressed out.

How under paid am I? I am a Product owner located in Dallas with 1 year of experience as a BA and 1 year as a PO. Our team no longer has a scrum master so I cover all the responsibilities of a PO & SM. I often work 50-60 hours per week (covering releases and working on call). I make 65K.

Right now I’m unhappy in my role due to bad management. I work in NYC at a beauty/CPG company. I have an opportunity to move to a new role internally which I am trying to make happen just to get some sanity. I have 6 years total experience (4 + as an IT project manager/ business analyst and 2 on as a Tech Product lead) but am considering if I should consider finding a new job. Which PMP course do you recommend? One of my employees wants to get a PMP certification and I’m willing to use part of our development budget to pay for it. She’s open to on-demand, DIY classes or live classes. I want to make sure the course we choose is good value. Is there a specific one you really like? I’ve done some research on my own but a lot of them seem so similar that it’s hard to choose!

👋 I’m currently a PM at a startup making $120k. I’ve got two offers at $150k. My dilemma is that I work maybe 25hrs/week and exceed expectations and I spend 10-15hrs/week on my side hustles which make about $100k. Hourly I make more at $120k, but I’m thinking about leveraging those offers to get a bump. Any thoughts on how to go about getting that bump?

Imagine you received an offer for a PM role (non-FAANG) what are some questions you'd ask the hiring manager about the job or company?
Reason for asking this is because I see a lot of PM jobs might not be exactly align with what PMs should do. Any thoughts on this ?

How tough is it to break into a FAANG PM role at mid-level if you have less prestigious experience? I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?
