Anyone who has used python for data science or python with SQL - what tools and libraries do you like? Do you have any course or reading recommendations for someone just starting out?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. How do you know when you should accept a job offer? I’m struggling with an offer I currently have - the whole package is pretty decent and I got along with the people I interviewed with. However, they were all 10-15 years older than me so I’m not sure how that will work out for me in the future. I’m also not completely sure if I want this job since it’s an area of accounting that I’m not familiar with, but at the same time I want to leave public before busy season.

Thoughts on transitioning from PA to Law? Before PA my plan was always to get my JD. Things changed and I somehow ended up in audit (not tax). Very unsatisfied with PA, and accounting in general, so I've been thinking of going back and getting my JD.

This is a question which I'm curious about people's thoughts. Mostly reflecting on the past since I'm way too far in audit to make a career change. Did I make a mistake by not trying for law school? I took the LSAT when I was a first year associate and got a 168. At this point, the score expired and would need to retake. I know law is riskier than audit. But a part of me wonders if I'd have been better off (except more student loans) if I went to law school instead of sticking with audit?
