I'm spending the weekend in Boston too instead of flying home too

like

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - Italian villa reassembled piece by piece, great courtyard and art; BMFA - I spent hours here; Newbury Street - boutiques and cute restaurant; North End - Italian area, had good gnocchi and cannoli there once; Harvard Yard - same as Newbury St but less $$, Boston Commons - near city hall, can pretend you're in The Departed. You can also do the walk to historic sites, it's pretty easy and will take you through some great areas in Boston and through American history. ❤️ Boston. Have fun!

Depends what you want to do? I live in Boston and it's an awesome place.

Beacon Hill

boston public library, public garden, there is some walk in downtown. would recommend US's oldest restaurant - an oysterhouse. look that up.

I had a day and I went walked around Boston to do the freedom trail and ate in Quincy market

Harpoon and the Lawn on D are fun

D5. Good call with lawn on D for afternoon to evening.

HIGHLY recommend doing the Sam Adams brewery tour then taking the party trolley to Douls!!!

That's all the way in Jamaica Plain tho :/ Harpoon is closest.

Downeast is cool too but pretty far off the beaten path. Also fun but far is Night shift

I'll be at Carrie Nation tonight 😎 now go have fun!

Fellow runners - I’ve been running 3-4x per week at about a 20-25 mile/week for the past year or so.

My questions: (1) does it make sense to take a week off and let myself rest or do other workouts (i.e. cycling) and (2) I’ve been running with the same shoes since August last year - make sense to get new ones?
