My annual review is coming up. I’m asking for a raise. I’ve made a list of accomplishments. Is it too much to bring this list to the meeting and give it to my bosses to help my case?

No, not at all! It's not a brag list. It's your annual performance readout. Facts and figures. Bring it, tie your achievements back to important strategies for your agency. Show what you achieved and ALSO where you may be achieving more than expected for your role. Sell yourself the way you'd sell your work to. Your client. You got this. Good luck!

Go for it!!!!

I’m curious what the opinions are on the process they have seen or used to get promoted. I’ve never had it happen in my career this way but in my mind, your work speaks for itself, you advocate for yourself, ask for a promotion when it’s not been offered. Then you get promoted after you make your case if you do qualify. The way I’ve seen it (& a reason I’m leaving my current company) is where they only promote people when they’ve threatened to leave or received a different offer. Thoughts?

Currently an SC 130k annually was brought in as an EH and will be 2 years in April. Since starting, I am yet to receive a raise or AIP. I am about to get an offer. When I mentioned about having to leave my year end bonus, recruiter asked for documentation for last years bonus. I don’t want to provide that because : 1. That number is not reflective of this year bonus ( I am also up for promotion this year ) 2. They will get to know my base pay What to do in this situation. Please suggest. Thanks in advance

If you got hired at the absolute bottom of the payband, I gave my salary expectations which was unknowingly less than my offer a few months back, is it possible to renegotiate a raise to at least the middle of the payband, come the performance review, raises, and bonus meeting, especially given inflation? In addition my firm’s new base payband for my position as an external higher is posted at 31% higher than my current salary.

After getting promoted in Feb 2020 (lol fml) I designed and implemented a significant piece of data infrastructure that is beyond what’s expected of someone at my level. In 2021, I was not recognized for this accomplishment and a guy who knows nothing about the technology was promoted over me. It’s been a year since his promotion & the wheels are starting to come off: others are becoming increasingly aware of his ineptitude. What’s the best way to subtly pour gasoline on this fire?
