I am an engineer with 3 years 11 months of experience. I wanted to explore abroad job opportunities. I am aware about the different paths but I want to land a job without taking any visa in advance or going there on student visa.

I tried applying for jobs through LinkedIn but haven't landed any interview. Can you pls give ve me some tips?

Hi all! This is not necessarily an interview tip, more like a what should I do now kind of dilemma. I received an email to complete an in-person interview with a company last Wednesday. I responded via email the following morning with a few times I can go in as requested, specifically a time on Monday. I hadn’t received a response by Friday end of day so I waited to send a follow up email on Sunday. I still haven’t received a response. Do I continue to reach out again or cut my losses?

I am terrible at withholding salary information from recruiters. Yesterday a recruiter gave the line “I would hate for us to get to the end of the interview process only for it to turn out that we couldn’t give the salary you would need” so I panicked and threw out a number that was thirty percent higher than my current pay. He then told me the salary range which was way higher! Do you really just firmly repeat “I need to learn more about the team and benefits before I can assign a number?”
