Greattings, I started working at Morgan Stanley basically as an intern, then moved up to an Estate and Inheritor specialist, was looking to move on to be a FA getting my certs with MS sadly pandemic hit and things got stuck in MS, then I got an offer from my current employer Goldman sachs and I'm a manager for level 3 complaints for the GM card, I'm looking to go back to the path of FA but it's been hard to make the lateral move, any recommendations?

Anyone hiring?

I’m looking to exit my current firm. I know this isn’t the typical place for this type of post, but I always try to look for an accepting environment before I make moves. ADHD-friendly teams are a dream to work on. The impact it makes when you’re senior leadership knows how you are is everything in my experience.

Hi network! Needing some help. My fiancé is seeking a position in the Supply Chain sales or consulting area. He currently is a Marine Scheduler for an oil&gas company here in Houston. He is open to remote or hybrid positions, holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Mgmt. Has 5 years of supply chain industry experience. Are there any companies that we should be targeting? Also what compensation should he be asking for?

My joining date is in end of May. I am planning to join early by April Mid. Will there be any work immediately after joining?

How will it be for the first 2 to 3 weeks ? Any induction or other types of meetings? What are we supposed to do on first 3 weeks after joining (if I get laptop on joining date itself)?

Pls help so that I can plan accordingly!!

I’ve been working with two recruiters and so far I feel like they’re equally competent (in terms of knowledge, experience, communication skills and responsiveness). They both mentioned it’d be worth sending anonymous CVs to partners at law firms to gauge their interest in hiring. For speculative applications, would it make sense to go with the recruiter working at the bigger recruitment agency as they’re likely to have more connections? Does the agency or the recruiter himself matter more?

Anyone have advice on how to get their adult rescue dog to like (or even tolerate) a carrier or doggy tote bag? He hates anything “confining” including harnesses, bandanas, blankets, and hugs. We really need him to get used to a bag for subway and car purposes but he gets stiff as a board, and bolts the second he can. We’ve tried leaving it out to get used to, treats, placing him in and giving high value toy or treats, and he still hates it.

Hi! Does anyone have any pet insurance recs? My dog is 3 yo, healthy, small chihuahua/Boston terrier mix. He’s had surgery on one of his legs and now has a plate in there that the doctors say might bother him when he gets older. But not an issue for the foreseeable future. I’m looking for insurance that’ll cover routine checkups, bloodwork, other basics as well as in case of emergencies—surgeries, etc. TYIA!
