Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

600 is rough. That’s really small. Sorry.

I’m sorry OP
I agree with you - most people wouldn’t share a 600 sqft studio and have a good time doing it, but given that’s the situation you’re in currently, your bf might have a hard time picturing a shared living situation that’s better.
My bff and her fiancé (now husband) went to stay in his parent's house. After a while it’s may just not be enough personal space and time. During normal conditions you'd have work as a natural segmentation which you no longer have. Sit down and discuss values and goals, if those don't align then there's a fundamental problem. If they do you need to work out a way to get some space, maybe a little time apart is a real option that hasn't been fully explored? Or use the opportunity to find a bigger place, there are lot of places becoming available bc ppl are moving in droves.
Can you move to a bigger place? I got married last August and even my marriage struggles in our 1000 sq ft place (we’ve lived together for 3+ years but never both worked from home).
Moving in together is always an adjustment, but when you don’t have any personal space it can especially put strain in the relationship. Compound that with just general horrible stress of pandemic and other events...and it just magnifies it exponentially.
Would probably make a big difference to move to a place where you could put a door between you to “get away” every now and then if you feel that his complaints are rooted in the living situation and not in the relationship itself.
