My boss asked me what id like to do moving forward at work. The department im in has gone under many changes the past few months. I was really hoping the business would put me in a place they “need” me but instead it’s up to me…
My goal is to reach the top, climb the ladder and one day be CEO. I have a lot of outside influences that make this a possible venture.
I’m currently in sales but don’t know if the right path is to continue in.
What should I say to my boss, knowing I’m on right path?

Tell him exactly what you just said. :) If you’re happy in the position you’re in, even with the recent changes within the company, tell him your goal is “to continue your dedication to the company” and that “you look forward in being a contributing factor to the companies success.” Go with your gut

Has anyone tried getting out of their lease and been successful? I’ve been isolating out of the city for 3mo and will be here at least another 3mo, if not more. I live in one of those large/newer buildings managed by Greystar Properties as opposed to a townhouse. Any successful angles/negotiation tactics/DC laws that worked in your favor (relative to the public health crisis/pandemic) would be greatly appreciated. For context, lease technically ends Dec 9, but am looking to get out before then

I’m a sales engineer in the manufacturing industry working for a small company, who received a job offer from another small company in a different industry within the manufacturing space who really wants me.

Need advice! I’m currently interviewing for an account executive role and there’s a couple of red flags that have come up. 1. They aren’t able to tell me when I would have to relocate for the remote role I applied for. 2. Midway through the interviews—-the team decided to bump me down to a level lower which changes the base salary and commission. The recruiter is also unable to disclose why the team made that decision which makes me uncomfortable. What would you recommend?

I am worried that I am being benchmarked on a wrong job title.

Sales Manager vs International Manager or should it be something else?

My employer is based in China, while I am in France. I remotely manage a global sales team, with team members from around the globe. They all work remotely as well.

Being remote, and managing an international remote team, I would like to know what should be my job title? Any idea or professionals that I may contact, please?

Thank you.

Im a BDM 22 year old on £25k per + commission. Over £500k sales this year and I’m thinking of asking for a salary increase.

Is there a smart way to propose this?

I don’t want to undercut myself and I don’t want to overshoot the mark. Im keen energetic and confident in my sales abilities.
I believe I should be earning more base salary and promoted to a higher position.

Should I wait for things like this or is don’t ask don’t get really important here?

Thinking about asking for 46K, new cellphone and official title change. I'm expecting some negotiating, which I've never done. 24F, AA Bus Admin, and overall good employee
