Simple note.. just ramp up with technology what world is looking for.. then you need not worry about layoffs.. on a lighter note just be aware and get prepared.

Yes, but only to your close one's because as Manager-1 mentioned, it'll be unethical not to say. If you do it publicly, then it might be an issue, hence mention it to them who trust you and might not spread it as much as others!
