My boss just told me about possible layoffs. He didn't name anyone. Should I warn my teammates?

Quit my job instead of being fired after being pushed out in a shitty situation - got an offer for a job after feeling worthless and incompetent for a few weeks. Everyone who is struggling, hang in there...good things do happen!

I have a coworker in the building who doesn't seem to ever actually be doing work. They spend almost 40 minutes (if you let them) talking about things that have happened 10 to even 60 years ago. But they also even worst smell like a pile of garbage in a 6ft diameter, decided its okay to walk bare foot (with socks) in the office while there are clients in the building. Note he has been told multiple times by higher ups to clean up but doesn't, quote he can not be fired with the business we have.
