Some bosses are not going to have high emotional intelligence. You’ll find them everywhere, at every job and every firm. Don’t leave because he snapped at you, leave because the job isn’t for you anymore and you find another opp that excites you. Don’t run away, run towards!!!!
So sorry that happened to you. You deserve to be respected irrespective of what work you got done or what more they wanted you to have completed. Please make the best decision for you and your mental, emotional, and physical health. Good luck!

A lot of bridges because people vouched for me. I’m so confused.

Have you considered talking to your boss and letting him know that snapping at you / talking to you in this way was not acceptable?
I’d write down my thoughts. Then sleep on it and see how you feel in the morning.
I would say something like hey Im happy to accept any criticism but would prefer to discuss any constructive feedback in person and with no one else present. And that you felt uncomfortable with the way he shared the feedback in front of the entire team. You could wait for a few days after the emotions cool down and then request for a personal meeting.
Honestly what your boss did was completely unprofessional and if he's a decent person he's probably feeling bad at this moment too.
