San Ignacio is a great city for Mayan ruins. There are nice hotels (nothing fancy) that can set up tours. It’s close to a TON of Mayan ruins including hop across the border to Guatemala to see Tikal. The city has some FANTASTIC food! It’s small and cute. It’s a long way from the coast, but if you have time you can do some time in San Ignacio (jungle side), some time on the coast and I’ve also heard great things about the cenotes, but haven’t seen them myself.
Thank you!! This is great info ☺️☺️
