Does Pennsylvania require companies to pay out unused PTO? I can’t find any wording regarding that in my contract.
Omnicom fishies. How much PTO do y’all get? SAE level in the states. Was told 2 weeks but that’s kind of low?
I’m having a major surgery this week and my sister told me she couldn’t make it because she does have enough vacation days left for the year and she wants to save them in case we go on vacation later in the year. I’m livid.
Does anyone else ever feel like Deloitte is a cult? Just took some PTO and as much as I like it here, I'm starting to wonder if I am submitting to some cult and whether I should be concerned
I have PTO scheduled over Memorial Day but I am planning to put my two weeks this week. Should I tack on the additional days to cover the PTO time? Not sure how to handle the awkward timing
If you have 200 hours of PTO can you take 1 hour a day and end your day earlier for the rest of the year?
I put PTO on my schedule in July to go out of town for a concert & haven't purchased tickets yet. Should I be willing to cancel those plans to free up my time for an engagement that needs staffing?
Is this where we talk about how to low key dance to your favorite song at the holiday party but not be THE dancing negro? Lifelong problem.
Honest opinions please (even if negative/harsh!) - 2 week vacation in Q4 as a finance lateral that joined the firm in 2021. Will folks be raising eyebrows at this and judge me negatively?
Is it weird/rude to do work during a 2 hour hair appointment (instead of taking the PTO)?
Does anyone have to work tomorrow (not given Friday off for the holiday? Or is their company giving Monday off instead? Or no holiday at all?
What could your employer do to make you happy and want to stay? I go first 🙋🏽 more time off and leadership be an example by discouraging unrealistic overtime work
Suggestions on where to visit in November? Have about 2 weeks + and need to burn vacation
Looking for base salary ranges for EY Tax Senior Manager for Cleveland OH area in the technology group. Have ~8 years of MGMT experience and ~14 years of software/engineering experience.
I’ve been interviewing for a position at EY . The role I applied for and was referred for is a Senior Consultant. However, when I’ve been receiving emails for interview scheduling confirmation I’ve noticed it only says Consultant. Is there a difference between Consultant and Senior Consultant at EY or are they the same? What’s the pay difference for both, if there is one? I just want to make sure they’re not trying to bump me down from the level I actually want to be considered for. Thanks!
Why does the Skype for business app suck so much?
Post MBA goal is MBB/Tier 2 consulting firms in NYC or NJ. What schools (other than HSW) should I be targeting?
When a hiring company says they can cover my year end bonus if I come on board sooner, is that in addition to a signing bonus? Or is that the signing bonus?
EY partner worried about where I got my undergraduate degree. Basically overlooking my 10 year experience and achievements during interview. Good riddance
How long does it take you to get ready in the AM? Include your gender. I'll start...Female and about 45 minutes.

Better to be a big fish in a small pond or a little fish in a big pond for MBA apps (I.e. superstar at B4 or mediocre/below average at MBB; metaphorically speaking ofc, ik the B4 is technically bigger in terms of size but you understand the point in terms of competitiveness)?
A lot of the ESL positions i am Interviewing for are part time. I don’t have an issue with this but I would assume I wouldn’t get health benefits. What other jobs could I do at the same time?
My skin isn't the best and with WFH - I have been doing the basics : moisturiser and sunscreen everyday which has really helped. Next year, I'm likely to be back full time in the office and on client site - and I want to do the bare minimum makeup wise. Can someone provide me your "bare minimum" routines and also - makeup/skincare brands! :)
MD or MBA? I got into both. I know most will say choose the MD, but hear me out: MD: I'd have to go into a specialty to have a good IRR given my salary & the $200K+ debt. By the time I'd be done with residency the US may be in a single payer system. US doctors make 3x the amount in France and 2x vs UK.. I currently make what a doctor makes in France. That could be the future here, too. MBA: 1 yr. Europe. I'd make about 15-20% more vs. now.
I just gate checked my bag because the flight attendant said it wouldn’t fit. I’m now on the plane without my bag like a chump
I'm looking to pivot from consulting into tech. I've gotten lots of interesting from tech companies on the ops side but am much more interested in product management. Any advice on books or courses to help make the transition? I'm struggling to land PM interviews at companies that aren't tiny startups :(
My mental health is really suffering because of family drama. Primarily, it's the toxic sexism in my culture (Indian)- feels very unfair how my mom and I get treated, especially by the males (and some toxic females) in the family. Any advice on how to navigate the double standards and lack of decency/respect? I do have a therapist but don't feel as supported with this. Just feeling really depressed, so any constructive thoughts/advice is super helpful.
How long does it usually take for the recruiter at ZS to reach out after the R1 interview? Had my first-ever consulting interview on Friday so I’m not too sure about the process. Anything so I can convince myself that I didn’t get rejected
3.5 years of experience with a masters in finance (non-MBA) in boutique consulting. We’re a flat org so no titles/promotions but a quick expansion in my scope of responsibilities (cont’d)
