I’d like to preface this post with saying I was in a very toxic relationship previously. I went to therapy, healed myself, and now feel I have found someone very healthy. He self reflects, he listens, he’s present, he makes me feel heard (mostly). With all that said, I can’t stop feeling like he’s only giving me the bare minimum. Not depressed - personally we had a fantastic 2021 and all is good (although very busy with a 5 month old). Usually enjoy flipping through the NYE parties shows on networks but they kinda suck and not feeling the hype. Anyone else feel the same?

On my way to my third session with my new therapist. I think after this one is when I’ll decide if I’m going to move forward with her.

I'm an SA, and my fiance is finishing up her residency and loves the medical field. I make good money and have a house but I feel like the relationship and the obligations (house, family) are anchors and holding me back from living my life. I want to sell and live on the road, traveling and being free.

I can’t live with my spouse anymore and I think the feeling is mutual. We have kids (<10yrs) and I would hate to not be able to see them everyday.
